Our Software Technology group performs cutting-edge research in real-time and embedded systems, security, remote operations, and intelligent distributed systems. We are offering several internship positions and master thesis projects. Our internship positions are competitively paid and provide the opportunity of working on real-world projects in an international team of innovative scientists.

Programming and documenting software applications for the power and automation domain - Literature research - Conceptual work and original research - Independent execution of challenging project tasks under competent supervision

We have several ongoing research projects offering opportunities for internships. Potential topics will be discussed during the phone interview. Candidates' suggestions are welcome.

Profil recherché

Profound knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C++, C\#, R, Python, Scala a plus - Proficiency in English - Know-how in the development of real-time and embedded systems, security technologies, big data technologies, machine learning, operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, VxWorks or QNX) - Electrical engineering, control theory, multi- and many-core systems, parallel software design, robotics, and/or database technologies an asset - Willingness to learn - Motivation to try out cutting-edge technology developments - Ability to think conceptually and express ideas clearly and convincingly
