Main mission
Under supervision of the COO, the CTIO is responsible for outlining the company's technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs. The CTIO is in charge of information technology and computer systems of the company.
Key Activities
Manage the company's technological plans
Envision how different forms of technology should be used throughout the company: identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
Plan and direct the implementation of new IT systems
Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
Maintain a company's network
Oversee data security and management
Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations
Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape
Work closely with Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements
